EMPLOYER: Charter Communications, Inc.
TITLE: Senior Middleware Administrator
DUTIES: Work with application teams on multiple deployments and troubleshooting for various applications. Resolve incident and outage calls. Collaborate with multiple vendors including VMWare, Oracle, AWS, AppDynamics, and Datadog to provide solutions to application teams. Conduct root cause analyses and provide recommendations to application teams and offer cloud solutions including Kubernetes, CAAS, and AWS. Deliver cluster upgrades and work on WebLogic patching to address security issues. Provide training and knowledge transfer to other members of the team. Actively monitor applications using tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, and Datadog. Deploy application code to user accepted testing and production. Document newly launched applications. Create tuning alerts to better monitor the system with changing requirements. Establish automation jobs to clean the disk space on servers. A hybrid (in office and remote work) arrangement is available.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, or a related field. 8 years of experience utilizing Weblogic to install, deploy, and troubleshoot applications; utilizing Tomcat to install and deploy applications. 3 years of experience utilizing Kubernetes and CAAS to deploy applications; utilizing Datadog, AppDynamics, and Splunk to monitor applications; utilizing Cherwell to track and work on tickets.
SALARY: $126,298 – $127,700 per year
HOURS: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (40+ hours/week)
