TITLE: Lead Application Developer
DUTIES: Coordinate changes with HANA Enterprise Developers and Cloud Platform Developers to ensure accurate data is flowing from SAP S/4 HANA and cloud sources. Ensure data is secure, staged in its “raw” state, has the proper logic to ensure it is put into a “defined” state, along with audit, reconciliation, and error rules applied for our Finance partners to model into a “produced” state. Collaborate with Principal Engineers to create standards, models, and designs, which lead to development work across the team. Work on project teams with technical consultants who are SAP HANA specialists and who will follow the direction set by this position as a leader on the team. Write SAP code using HANA WebIDE, SQL Script, and ABAP. Write requirements and end user stories utilizing JIRA and MS Word. Utilize Excel spreadsheets and standard testing tools to write Test Scripts. Collaborate with Principal Engineers to deliver architecture and design diagrams created in Visio. Collaborate with Principal Engineers to deliver architecture design standards, patterns, and principles. Utilize SAP ABAP to build data interfaces, data transformation, audit, controls and monitoring for reporting. Utilize SAP S/4 HANA to build ETL processes for reporting. Utilize SAP BW/4HANA to provide business metrics for reporting. Utilize SAP Reporting for real time reporting. Utilize SAP Cloud Platform Integration to implement data feeds between Cloud applications and reporting data store on HANA.
REQUIREMENTS: 7 years of experience required in utilizing SAP ABAP for data transformation, audit, controls and monitoring for reporting. The employer will also accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Technology, or a related field and 5 years of the aforementioned experience. Required experience must include: 4 years of experience: utilizing SAP S/4 HANA to build ETL processes for reporting; utilizing SAP BW/4HANA to provide business metrics for reporting; with real time reporting utilizing SAP Reporting. 2 years of experience utilizing SAP ABAP to build data interfaces. 1 year of experience utilizing SAP Cloud Platform Integration to implement data feeds between Cloud applications and reporting data store on HANA. *Hybrid (office and remote) work arrangement is available.
SALARY: $126,298 - $159,400 per year
HOURS: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (40+ hours/week)
