TITLE: BI Analyst II
DUTIES: Support analysis and reporting activities of the Business Intelligence Group to ensure business needs and goals are realized. Coordinate, document and translate high-level detailed business requirements into functional requirements for developers to improve and manage changes. Identify issues, interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques and provide reports. Support data and table validations utilizing Teradata SQL. Perform a cross- functional role to facilitate business process changes with stakeholders in different departments; work with stakeholders to support the integration of new products and services, regulatory requirements, tools, technologies and markets into existing operations. Create audit reports and recommend updates to existing procedures and process documentation. Process requirements, plan and validate through operational testing to ensure changes meet business needs. Manage the process, review and sign-off for new updates and procedures. Support data validation and report testing for changes, updates, improvements and enhancements. Identify trends in data and translate findings. Generate ad-hoc prototype reports. Utilize MicroStrategy (MSTR) reporting software to manipulate reports. Perform data integrity report and analyze the root cause. Manage and review reporting tools with development, deliveries, and execute support plans. Work with Data Warehouse concepts utilizing Teradata. Provide oversight of complex data management, review, questioning, and provide solutions and visibility of data. Assist the team in the fabrication process for extracting raw data from sources files. Create requests using Service Now, JIRA, and Issue Management. Independently and effectively manage the data and ability to generate Ad-Hoc reports from the users’ requests. Ensure reliable, accurate and efficient products. Utilize Teradata SQL Assistant or Studio to write and read complex SQL and Store Procedure as well as functionality of software. Test report solutions and utilize SQL to validate data characteristics.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering or related field. 3 years of experience; utilizing Teradata SQL Assistant or Studio to write and read complex SQL and Store Procedure as well as functionality of software; testing report solutions and utilizing SQL to validate data characteristics; working with Data Warehouse concepts utilizing Teradata; and 1 year of experience using MicroStrategy (MSTR) reporting software to manipulate reports.
*A hybrid (in office and remote work) arrangement is available.
SALARY: $71,053 - $109,100 per year
HOURS: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (40+ hours/week)
