TITLE: Network Engineer IV
DUTIES: Support projects, systems, and issues of varying complexity relating to network planning, configuration, and optimization. Integrate communication architectures, topologies, hardware, software, transmission and signaling links and protocols into complete network configurations. Lead network planning, architecture, design, and engineering. Evaluate new products and perform network problem resolution. Develop and document technical standards and implement approved methods of procedure. Design corporate standards, develop network enhancements, and provide tier support across organizations. Support network design and planning including topological design, network-synthesis, and network-realization. Engage in network architecture, including supporting network traffic flow and complex troubleshooting. Utilize network protocols including network traffic flow and security measures including TCP, UDP, and MRTG. Support network topology including schematic arrangement and assess physical and logical relationship of nodes using Netbrain. Implement network architecture and design.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. 3 years of experience in network design and planning including topological design, network-synthesis, and network-realization. 3 years of experience in network architecture including supporting network traffic flow and complex troubleshooting. 3 years of experience in network protocols including network traffic flow and security measures including TCP, UDP, and MRTG. 3 years of experience in network topology including schematic arrangement and asses physical and logical relationship of nodes using Netbrain.
Salaries depend on geography, experience, and education; negotiations begin at $112,798.
SALARY: $112,798.00 to $196,400.00 per year
HOURS: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (40+ hours/week)
